Mazarron Country Club nestles in the hills above the town of Mazarron. It is a select development comprising of about 800 properties, many of which are residential. There are two and three bedroom detached villas, many with their own pools, and a number of bungalows of one or two bedrooms, again, some of them having their pools. A popular aspect of the Country Club is the way it is arranged around spacious roads and walkways, giving an open feel to the whole site. There is a restaurant that is open all year around and in its grounds there is a large swimming pool, with an attached children's pool. There are three tennis courts  and a number of petanca (French Boules) terrains that can be used at any time. A nine hole golf course and a commercial centre are due to be constructed shortly.
The Club is a ten minute drive from the beaches of Puerto de Mazarron and Bolnuevo and it is only 40 minutes drive from San Javier Airport and about 70 minutes from Alicante Airport. Almeria Airport should not be discounted as many very cheap flights are available to here, and it is only about 80 minutes drive away.
